1 John 3:8
A poem about Christ's victory over the enemy
A tangled web has been woven, Made up of a sinister kind of yarn. Strings of destruction come together To form a truly horrific result. Sin, deception, sorrow, death, The prince of darkness schemes. Constantly adding to his labyrinth As more precious souls get roped in. Though to some it may appear Like he has the upper hand, That is not the case at all, For his evil plans will soon be wrecked. Then enters the Son of Man, At just the perfect time. The darkness has no choice but to cower In the presence of His light. Though His arrival came at a high price, His willingness never wavered. The world otherwise would’ve remained dim, Therefore He came to be its Savior. Rendering powerless that wicked knot, Death’s grip made loose—a fear of the past. Restoration now available for every soul, The works of the evil one untied at last.

Prayer Requests
I believe that interceding for others is an essential part of being a Christ follower. After all, what better way to love someone than to pray for them? Because of that, I will now be including a prayer request section at the end of every post!
Please feel free to leave your name (if you’re comfortable doing so) and anything you need prayer for. Each week, I’ll intentionally set aside time to pray over these requests.
Send them here!

"Untied at last." What a sigh of relief. This is lovely!
